About

I enjoy cheesy 90s action flicks and horror movies, K-pop/J-pop and acquiring as much loot as possible!!
Although I don't spend a lot of time on Gaia like I used to it still holds a special place in my heart. So feel free to drop me a comment or two, I'm sure to start up a conversation.

Happy Halloween! That's great to hear that things are going good! I haven't logged on here in a while either until earlier this month. I've been trying to get in tune with all sorts of forgotten fandoms and hobbies to keep life interesting. Lately I've spending sometime designing different Vroid characters for a possible Vtube account one day.. but I have a lot of work to do in improving my verbal communication skills. Have you gone on any quests in RL lately? I went to a really cool state park earlier this year in Texas that had a waterfall running down a forestall mountain, it was really majestic. Also, I've been trying get into writing more, I am currently writing an entry for a holiday themed light novel contest. Have you been working on any cool creative side projects?

The way too long post cont.: Part 2

Do you have Netflix? Whenever I watch anything lately it seems to be on there. I tried watching Murdoch Mysteries the other day, it was pretty great. I enjoy those kind of historical detective shows once in a while.

I found myself cracking up when I watched the English dub of the Yokai Watch anime. It's almost like laughing at the negative traits of humans in a lighthearted way since that's what most of the yokai represent in someway or another. If you are interested definetly watch this episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vw-uSwTEIqQ It's pretty funny!

That same teacher that forced us all to join twitter was also in charge of a class trip into NYC and she led us on to the subway to some building that was half fashion boutique half graphic art studio. It was pretty interesting but the worst part was once it was over she ditched the entire class in the middle of this shady sub-neighborhood of NY and left getting back to the train station up to us... What kind of teacher does that? She lived in NYC too, so she probably went out for drinks while we were all nervously trying to figure out which subway stop to get on and off of. xD

I agree, not communicating & interacting with other humans face to face has it's negative effects. Human interaction in the harshness of reality is like eating vegetables, it's not always fun but it can be good for you. As we all get older it becomes more complicated to decide which new social platforms, trends, technology & internet phenomenons to ignore or take part of.

Yeaaaaah.... Video game companies feel like they are releasing piecemeal products that aren't always complete that have flaws since they are probably thinking: "We can just patch it later or release a pricey DLC / content pack." I only play games on the 3DS lately, sometimes I play on the computer... I purposefully avoid MMOs and new games with big open and detailed worlds for the player explore for my own sake.

I once bought Dark Souls for the Xbox360... I played it when I was in a particularly bad mood for like 2.5 hours and wound up destroying the disk. I realize I could have sold back the game to Gamestop but somehow breaking the game was worth more to me. I like an honest challenge like in Monster Hunter or Dragon's Dogma, but whoever developed Dark Souls is a complete jerk. There was no sense of reward in that game for me.. You just beat one horrible boss then you're onto the next horribly set up situation. That game was definitely not my cup of tea.

A revival of Rockstar's Bully could be awesome! That title has a lot of potential to be reworked into something great for a new console. Playing games as delinquents can be a lot of fun. I really enjoyed playing Kenka Bancho for the PSP where you got to be a highschool brawler on his class trip to Kyoto, you got to pick which province you came from (each province has it's own special fighting move). You also got to purchase awesome clothes & hairstyles that made you look like a true delinquent! There was even a giant banana costume, what a fun game that was.

It's funny what things people will throw giant piles of money at to obtain. Especially paintings, just because it was created by a certain artist, the painting can rake in millions of dollars regardless of the subject matter or quality of art. Working at an auction house sounds so cool! Do you get to handle rare artifacts and mingle with dashing royalty? Can you speak in that super fast auctioneer voice!?

I haven't really got to watch much of X-files yet, I think I will eventually though. I became obsessed with Twin Peaks earlier this year and watched all of it. David Duchovny makes a guest appearance in that series as a cross-dressing DEA Agent, it's funny to see stars in other things before their most famous roles.

I tried watching Deep Space Nine, it seemed pretty cool but the episodes are so long. Sometimes the plot moves too slow for my liking in Star Trek but I can appreciate the series for how awesome it is. Gene Roddenberry was a genius!

I used to watch some K-Drama many moons ago. Something about a rebellious rich guy who had family issues, It was well written and really addicting to watch. I haven't really been interested in any Korean or Japanese Dramas in a while. I tried to watch a few K-dramas on Netflix: one about a woman who was fox spirit, one about a strict hotel manager and another about a group of rookie cops... But unfortunately I lost interest within the first episode. x _ x

Do you use Netflix? Whenever I w
